Community Economic Development-Related Funding Available
 

Federal Individual Development Accounts. Standing notice issued by the Department of Health and Human Services for the Assets for Independence Demonstration Program. High-Energy-Cost Community Grants for nonprofits, for-profits, state and local governments, and tribes to improve energy generation, transmission, or distribution facilities. Deadline: March 28. Department of Veterans Affairs Homeless Providers Grant and Per Diem Program. Per diem funding for housing and supportive services, capital grants for expansion of transitional housing projects or development of new ones. Eligible are state, local, and tribal governments as well as faith- and community-based organizations. Deadline for both: April 9.
